Good Friday Service - “Garden to Garden”

Mar 29, 2024

Welcome to “Garden to Garden”, our Good Friday service of reflection and remembrance. The last hours of the life of Christ are eternally significant and yet they do not stand in isolation. From before the time of the creation of the first garden, God had a plan to redeem mankind. This plan included the suffering of His Son Jesus for us. Each moment, from the Garden of Gethsemane to the Garden Tomb where He rose again, helps tell of God’s plan to restore our relationship with Him. Each event is foreshadowed and predicted in the Old Testament. With every step along the way leading to the cross, Jesus becomes the sacrificial Lamb of God who establishes and inaugurates a new covenant relationship for us with the Father. Today, we remember and proclaim His death and burial. We encourage you to follow along, using this book to guide us. We invite you to trust this One who provides for us salvation from our sin and a reconciled relationship with God. We also invite you to join us on Saturday or Sunday as we conclude the remembrance in the Garden, where the Tomb was empty and we see the Risen Savior, Jesus Christ.
