Worship

Because of the sacrificial work of Jesus Christ on our behalf, it is now possible for us to draw near to God. This is the heart of true worship. God has set forth a specific plan for us to approach Him and through faith in the offering of Jesus Christ we become His worshipers.

Worship is a response.  God has revealed Himself and we respond. When we gather together for our worship services, we desire to help each other to see the glories of God, to see what God has done on our behalf, and then encourage each other to respond to God.

When we gather together as a body we respond in worship in a variety of ways—through the songs that we sing, through our giving, through listening to the word of God and applying it to our lives.  We respond through how we fellowship with one another.  All these are acts of worship and we desire to do them together.

Each Sunday morning a specific aspect of who God is and what He has done is unpackaged over a seventy-five minute service. Each element of the service, whether it be a great hymn of the faith, a newer song of praise, a video illustration, a dramatic reading, or some other creative expression of worship, ties together with the teaching to help us know in a deeper way our great God!  Each part of the service is intentional.  From the time that we walk into the worship center until the time that we leave, we want our thoughts to be pointed to God.

Our desire at Fellowship Bible Church is to develop a community of believers who love God fully and live lives that help others to see the glory of God in a richer way.
